From Curiosity to Craft

I’m originally from Poland, but I’ve
called the UK home for over twenty
years. I’ve always had a creative
instinct, though I didn’t arrive here
with a clear plan—just an openness
to explore. It was in London that I
discovered interior design, and that
discovery changed everything.

I trained at KLC School of Design,
where I built a strong foundation in
both technical skill and conceptual
thinking. From there, I spent years
working with some of the most
respected design and build studios
in London. These experiences shaped
my approach—teaching me how to
balance function, style and
storytelling to create spaces that feel
intentional, personal and distinctive.

Then came the moment that started
it all: I asked myself, why not create a
studio that reflects my own vision?
That question led to the birth of WHY
NOT Design. It’s more than just a
name—it’s a mindset. A way of
working that celebrates individuality,
challenges convention and dares to
design with confidence and curiosity.
